WORKSHOP ON DUE DILIGENCE STANDARDS AND VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN: NOV 9-10 2011, UCT
The working group on Women, Equality and Constitutionalism recently completed desk-top research into Southern African governments' compliance with due diligence standards with regards to violence against women. They then hosted a workshop from 9-10 Nov 2011 with activits and academics to discuss the results, discuss the realities on the ground and planned for advocacy interventions. The workshop was attended by representatives from 9 Southern African Countries and was a great success.
