Teddy has training and experience in legislative drafting and have participated in the drafting of a number of Drafts Bills for implementation of the Constitution of Kenya. He has also been involved in policy documents preparation which has often informed various blue-print documents in both the Kenyan private and public sector. Mr. Okello has advised various state corporations and corporate entities on legal compliance issues in matters relating to the Constitution and the general body of statutes extant in Kenya. He has also advised on international trade law matters such as WTO regime and the attendant concerns such as trade subsidies, counterveiling measures, among others. He recently advised an organization keen on rejuvenating youth involvement on East African Community issues in line with the Treaty Establishing the East African Community, 1999 and the attendant protocols. He has keen interest in constitutional environmental rights and policies issues. He is the current Executive Director of three consultancy firms in Kenya, namely, Centre for Environmental Law & Policy, Centre for Legal Research & Policy Development and Cyblaw Consulting Group Limited. He also a lawyer consultant with the Firm of Sichangi Partners Advocates, Kenya.
