Aims
- To undertake and promote cutting-edge research into the protection and implementation of socio-economic rights at the regional and domestic levels in Africa.
- To contribute to the development of jurisprudence on socio-economic rights in Africa.
- To encourage comparative research on socio-economic rights in Africa.
- To advocate for the better protection of socio-economic rights in Africa, and support advocacy efforts concerning their implementation.
- To collaborate with individuals, institutions and organisations with expertise and experience in the promotion, implementation and enforcement of socio-economic rights in Africa.
- To facilitate information sharing concerning these rights amongst African scholars, activists, NGOs and state officials.
